Recording Profiles

Recording profiles are used to set the device you wish to use to view the recording.

When you schedule a recording from the iPhone, Android, or Blackberry Players, the Vulkano Player automatically chooses a recording profile compatible with your smart phone.

In Vulkano Player’s “Settings” menu, you can select whether to use the standard or high quality recording profile.  High quality profiles offer better image sharpness in recordings, but the files they create are larger than when you use standard quality profiles.  High quality recordings will take longer to transfer from Vulkano to your smart phone.  Try both high and standard profiles for some test recordings and see which one you prefer.

On the TV Interface, you can choose a TV/PC/Mac profile, or any of the smart phone profiles.  If you choose a smartphone profile, then the recording will be downloadable on a smartphone of that type running the Vulkano player.

PC and Mac Vulkano Players also let you choose any recording profile.
